In 1997, Jin Taiyang was awarded the ranking of 'Quan Shi' by the China-Wenxian International Taijiquan Meeting and Research Association Committee and also ranked as a Taiji Coach by the Wenxian Taijiquan Training School. In the same year she was recognized in Chenjiagou as a 20th Generation representative of Chen Family Taijiquan with full permission to pass on the teachings of Chen Family Taiji Gong Fu.

In 1997, Wang Xi'an formally received Jin Taiyang as his student and she has continued to bring up her gong fu skill under his tutelage. Wang Xi'an has augmented Jin Taiyang's foundation training by adding depth to the forms, daily push hands practice, and
Qi building methods.

Jin Taiyang has the great fortune of working daily with Wang Xi'an and his two sons, Wang Zhanhai and Wang Zhanjun, All-China National Push Hands Champions. On March 18, 2000 Wang Xi'an Da Shi received Jin Taiyang as his indoor disciple. Her relationship with the masters and villagers of Chenjiagou has been the subject of numerous television documentaries and publications. Jin Taiyang currently lives in Chenjiagou in Wang Xi'an's old house and has devoted her life to the practice and promotion of traditional Chen Family Taiji Gong Fu and Chinese tradition and culture.

This site is dedicated with love, deep respect and appreciation to all those who have so generously shared their knowledge, skill, and spirit to help her gain a deeper understanding of the essence of Taiji Gong Fu.
